DTC finally!!

All of our documents were sent to China (DTC - Documents To China) on Thursday last week. We are so happy. Some of our documents were ready early and were sent to China two weeks ago to our agency translator. We are hopeful they will all be finished next week and we will get a quick Log in Date (LID) then we will get a Letter of Approval (LOA) than finally a Travel Approval (TA).

We have also received some more sad photos of Aimee, which makes our wait even more difficult. We can't wait to get her and hold her and start the process of loving her into our family. Has any one heard if anything is moving any faster?

Take care!! -Gayle

Love love love her little face. It reminds me of our walk with Jesus. Sometimes we are sad at what is being changed in our life, but if only we could see the bigger picture then we could more easily trust and know that we are in the palm of His hand. Aimee has no idea the "big plans" God has in store for her. She is not being left or forsaken, she is only being asked to wait. I am praying for her little heart and asking him to give her heart comfort, hope and peace. Everytime I see something Olympics related, I pray and think about your little Aimee...

Love you all 5!

Hurray!! We just got our LID today (July 22).I was watching our video today of our trip with you guys to Lanzhou! Hopefully, things will move fast at this point. I like your phrase "start the process of loving her into our family," - it's so true!

Those tears just hurt my heart. One of the wonderful gifts you'll be able to give Aimee is to continue her connection with her friend.

We're waiting with you and can't wait to see your "triplets" in action.

Oh Gayle and Tony, I'm so happy to see that you're finally DTC! & I understand how hard it is to wait when your daughter doesn't appear to be very happy where she is, . . . Not much longer now, sweet Aimee, and your world will begin to feel safe and loving, . . .
