At last, we're here!

Just a short entry before we crash for the night in Beijing. After so many delays and flight changes we lost count, we finally arrived here at 5:15 p.m. Beijing time (3:15 a.m. the same day in Oklahoma).

Gayle got no sleep at all on the longest flight, and Tony got maybe 45 minutes, so we're signing off for the night. Tomorrow we leave Beijing for a flight to Lanzhou, where we will receive Alex, probably in the late afternoon.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers.
