I'm so excited for you guys! Alex is adorable and Abbey looks as if she is very happy to have a new brother. i can't believe the time and effort it has taken you to get there, and it touches me that you have so much love to give to these babies. Stay safe.

Gayle,
Will you please email me when you get a chance. Glad you got out before the storm. 6 1/2" but it has been a blast.

Abbey,
Your baby brother is so cute just like you! Help your mom and dad take good care of Alex. Have a great time in China. We miss you very much.

We love the pictures of our new grandson. He looks so happy. And it is great to see the way Abbey is "mothering" her big brother.

Hey Guys:
We typed this big, "we love you, we're so happy for you" post last night and for some reason it didn't show up. So here it goes: We love you and are SOOO happy for you!!! i am amazed that Alex walked to Tony. That is AWESOME!!! And God is so good!!! Been praying about passports and plane tickets...have you found them yet??? Instead of Scott's bedtime story with the kids, we all read your blog together. It was cool seeing the "lights come on" in their little hearts as they realized that Alex was being birthed into your family the same way they were birthed into ours. WE told them that we will be at the airport when you get home just like you were for us...they were very excited about that. As a matter of fact, if you get home on the 14th, that's Kade;s birthday and he said that he could'nt think of a better way to spend his birthday than welcoming Alex home. He got so excited about Abbey and it's fun to see that excitement again for Alex. So are you getting any sleep?? Is Alex sleeping through the night??? Are Alex & Abbey "playing" together yet? How was Abbey's demeanor when you went to get Alex? Can't wait to hear all the details.

Love you so much!
